Zinc is a metal that changes over time, since a patina forms on the surface when placed outdoors, giving it different temporary natural visual color variations. It has a light metallic silver tone that, when exposed to the elements, gradually loses its brightness and darkens slightly over time, turning a bluish-gray color. This patina allows the material to last up to 100 years depending on the geographical area in which it is exposed.
